Creative Laser Studio
state-of-the-art large lasers allow us to provide precision cutting and engraving on almost any material, such as leather, glass and perspex, acrylic, biothane, fabric, and wood. We work in both large (yardage) and small (piece work) formats.
The process of laser cutting begins with vector artwork. This can be provided, or we can work with your existing artwork to create the proper file. The laser reads the file and begins to stimulate the material by electrical discharges within the closed container. The beam is reflected internally by means of a partial mirror, until it achieves sufficient energy to escape as a stream of monochromatic coherent light. This process allows for accuracy and precision in cutting and engraving. With engraving, the laser does not cut through the material, but partially burns away the surface. This can yield a subtle, yet beautiful effect.
Some of our most common laser projects include garment pattern cutting, perspex accessories, and leather apparel/goods. Our design team will work to make sure you get the results you need. We work with both development sample orders and production runs.
